What brand has really made history to you?

I wouldn’t say any one brand stands out above the rest as I admire many brands for different reasons.  For example, I like the old Carling TV campaigns, owing to their originality and humour and I also respect brands that have started from humble beginnings like Innocent Smoothies, as nowadays it is not easy coming up with something exciting and new then turning it into a household name.

What is your must have beauty/grooming essential?

I have recently started using pre-shave oil and a shaving brush from the Bluebeards Revenge range, which had definitely made shaving less of a chore! I also enjoy trying new fragrances, currently using Girgiopela Nero.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

Listen to others.  Don’t be afraid to ask if you don’t understand something – better to look silly in the beginning than stress doing something when you don’t have a clue.

What is your greatest strength?

As a numbers guy, I guess it would be keeping a tight rein on the spending of my less thrifty colleagues.

What makes you smile on a morning?

Seeing my daughter fast asleep in her room looking like a little angel – knowing that as soon as she wakes the peace will be shattered!

What 3 words describe you?

Determined, fair and loyal.

What brand has really made history to you?

IKEA. You either love it or hate it. Going to IKEA is like going on holiday for me, I get super exited and feel right at home. Growing up in Sweden, the concept is so clear to me and I know exactly what to get out of a visit. I think the business idea is simply brilliant and the brand has been a proven success all over the globe.

What brand has really made history to you?

Starbucks!  I’d love to know how many people would actually drink coffee if Starbuck’s didn’t exist. I remember desperately wanting to love coffee purely so I could walk around holding a Starbucks branded coffee cup! Now I can’t live without my daily caffeine fix! Similarly I love how Coca Cola is known just as much for the Christmas ‘Holidays Are Coming’ TV advert as they are for their soft drinks - the minute I see that advert, I know Christmas is just around the corner!

What is your must have beauty/grooming essential?

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream – it fixes everything (including a creaking door hinge), Diorshow Mascara – by far the best mascara ever and Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Deep Conditioner – my hair loves me every time I use it and it smells divine.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

Twitter, the way a simple concept of posting a 140 character update has become universally used by hundreds of millions of people, on a platform that has very few features other than a focus on light hearted, quick communication between individuals.
