Being gifted athletes, the academic duo recognised the importance of performance, excellence and success to create today’s “New Generation of Men” and set out to create a lifestyle brand that was distinctive, approachable and could successfully extend beyond its original product category.

Crafted by world class Perfumer Rodrigo Flores Roux of Givaudan, Alford & Hoff No. 2 Eau de Toilette is an assertively refreshing masculine composition. Designed for a discerning man that brings a rare quality of significance to the world, the cologne he chooses to wear does not define him, it is an extension of him. The interplay of unusual watery fruits and citrus tonalities sit within a woody base that is spiked by marine and mineral notes. This is an innovative fragrance that is masculine, effortless, and a reflection of an athletic lifestyle.

The fragrance contains 95 of the finest ingredients, when typically prestige fragrances are created with only around 30 or 40, a truly unique and complex scent.

Top Notes: The aromatic power of fresh citrus and intoxicating herbs, immediately sets it apart.

Mid Notes: A drop of sweet rum leads into the core of rare oils and absolutes. A modern masculinity unfolds into warm, addictive vanilla and tonka beans from the world’s most exotic regions.

ABOUT ALFORD & HOFF

Recognising a void in the market for men's luxury grooming Barry Alford and Jefferson Hoffman set out to create a lifestyle brand directed at the "New Generation of Men”. Parlaying Jefferson's business savvy and Barry's medical industry experience they formed Alford & Hoff, Inc. in 2008.

In October 2009, Alford & Hoff launched their signature fragrance in the US with Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman.

Currently available in the US, Alford & Hoff also offer luxury a full men’s skin care product line based on the Sirtuin-activating complex.

Alford & Hoff was developed to provide the highest quality fragrance and skincare products to the discerning man. They worked with world-class perfumer, Rodrigo Flores-Roux of Givaudan for their signature fragrance, and partnered with Dr. John Gross a famed cosmetic and plastic surgeon, author and Associate Professor at the USC Keck School of Medicine to develop their skincare line.

Barry Alford - Born and raised in Phoenix Arizona, Barry Alford, a gifted athlete, learned how to compete at a very young age. This led to successful college football career at Arizona State University where he was the recipient of the Maroon and Gold Scholar Athlete Award. After ASU, Barry went on to work at a Fortune 500 Company that thrived on science, technology and performance. Alford quickly reached the top of his game consulting with neurosurgeons, plastic surgeons and neurologists on medical products and equipment specializing in the cranio maxilla-facial industry (disease of the face, brain and head). It was in this role that Barry discovered information about Sirtuins and their ability to prolong cell longevity. As an athlete, Barry had always been concerned about his body’s performance, and that included his skin care. He contacted Jefferson Hoffman, an ASU teammate who had the same athletically driven mind-set and shared the same interest in quality skin care products for men.

Jefferson Hoffman, born and raised in Minnesota, a self-starter always looking for a new challenge, was also a natural athlete, but that wasn’t enough. He taught himself to play the piano and the saxophone. A perfectionist at an early age, he expected excellence from himself at every level. It was when Hoffman moved from the cold Midwest to the dry heat of Arizona and started playing college football that his own skin care needs became of personal interest. Always a master in identifying market opportunities, Jefferson’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish ventures in real estate, software and ultimately founded one of the largest volume trading companies on the West Coast. While maintaining successful private ventures, he had started doing his own research on the cosmetic industry when he received a call from his old friend, Barry Alford. Together, they recognized the potential to create a new market for men’s luxury skin care and to create a lifestyle brand that was directed to the New Generation of Men who are driven by performance, excellence and success.
