After its launch in August 2013 in Harrods and subsequently nationwide, the award winning* One Direction ‘OUR MOMENT’ scent became the fastest selling fragrance of the year. In 2014 their second and third fragrances 'THAT MOMENT' and 'YOU & I' launched.

Due to the incredible response from their line of best selling fragrances, One Direction have launched 'Between Us' for 2015.


Between Us opens like a colourful and sparkling fruit cocktail with juicy mandarin and apricot nectar to energize and invigorate.  The floral heart of the fragrance opens full of solar jasmine flowers and freesia while gardenia petals bring delicate intrigue.  Patchouli brings mystery and sensuality while vanilla and golden amber indulge you in a seductive blend of candied sugar, revealing an outstanding fragrance.

Mandarin Essence, Italian Orpur Nutmeg Essence and Indonesia Apricot Flesh make up the top notes whilst Freesia, Gardenia and Solar Jasmine Accord dominate the mid notes. Patchouli Essence from Indonesia, Vanilla Essence from Madagascar and Golden Amber Accord linger in the dry down.

Sonia Constant, the perfumer, commented: “As this is the band’s fourth fragrance, we wanted to make sure that the scent reflects their growth over the last year – it’s a sophisticated blend of delicate fruit and sensual flowers with subtle spicy undertones, giving it a really grown-up feel.”

The bottle has a sleek and sophisticated design, with a minimalist shape finished off with a premium elegant ribbon detailing the One Direction logo.

The bottle designer said, “For the new fragrance, we wanted to create a more premium shape, with elegant detail. As One Direction fans are growing up to become young, modern women, we wanted to bring the design in line with this.

The sparkling, juicy and feminine fragrance is made up of splashes of fresh fruit and seasonal flowers infused with undertones of warm musk. The pink grapefruit, wild berries and redcurrants, combined with the delicacy of jasmine petals, and frangipani with the dry woody tones of musk and patchouli leave an enticing and playful scent on the skin.

THAT MOMENT is a distinct and mature scent that blends green apple and cucumber for a fresh and fruity aroma whilst the addition of peony, violet and a hint of cedarwood offers all the excitement of new beginnings.

Each beautifully ornate pink glass bottle is complimented with a stunning 'glass diamond' cap, housed in a silver crown adding a magnificent and regal touch – designed to complement the uplifting and refreshing tones of the fragrance.

The fragrance is made up of splashes of fresh fruit and seasonal flowers, infused with an undertone of musk. Bright splashes of mango and refreshing grapefruit are combined with a heart of creamy osmanthus, exotic orchid and soft peony to offer a romantic signature that captures the peak of nature in bloom. Background notes of musk, indulgent praline and sandalwood blend to wrap the fragrance in smooth, seamless harmony.

Richard Herpin, perfumer, commented: “The scent embodies that unique time between spring and summer when nature is in full bloom; when everything is at its peak. Juicy fruits and gourmand notes are paired with fresh florals in a way that is perfectly balanced, achieving a harmony much like the charismatic dynamic of One Direction."

The new design features a striking angled glass bottle with a clear lilac overlay, outlined with an opulent gold line, giving the impression of a bottle within a bottle. The elongated cap echoes the bottle shape with a harmonizing lilac opaque covering. The ornate shape is complimented by the lilac coloured fragrance, and finished off with a detachable charm.

The precious golden charm, which can be worn separately, is lined with glittering ornaments and signed on one side with: ‘ONE DIRECTION’. The exclusive charm adds a chic touch to the bottle and gift to fans.

The box showcases two images of each band member separated by a web of converging golden lines framing the name of the fragrance: ‘You & I’. Strong monochrome images of each of the guys are shadowed by softer pictures, revealing a more intimate portrait of each.

Chad Lavigne, bottle designer, commented: “After watching the guys transition over the past two years, I was slightly obsessed with finding a new balance in the next bottle design; something that had a more avant-garde voice while still holding onto the energy that the guys deliver in everything they do… The graphic illustration of the “bottle within bottle” felt incredibly unique and personal while the form of the bottle and cap felt quite precious.”
